I am solid with Java, our environment is J2EE but I seldom have to do anything there, our architect does all of that. I still need the J2EE knowledge, which I've trained on but don't use.
How do I interview well for a Java/J2EE position?
hmmm ..seems like you are in production support !
Anwyys ...ask your architet if you can solve probelms and discuss with him .In case he solves it and doesnt let you do it , share yor ideas pro-actively .He might not like it , not care at first but i am sure he will apreciate and point out mistakes and reasoning behind the approach.
J2EE is vast dude. Stick to one part and then move across the spectrum .
