I need to embed a Java chatroom into my angelfire website. Can someone give me a sample code for this?

Title says it all. If it needs to be in javascript, then I'll need a little more help. I know basic HTML and no java. Thanks to anyone who can assist me.

first download JDK 6 from sun site - www.sun.com and installed in your computer, then you install tomcat.


you need download the apache's tomcat web server to run web application.it opensource software it is free software

Java script and Java are not the same thing. Java script was named after java because it had similar features but the it is just a scripting langauge just like html is a scripting language and css is a scripting language. The three all go together but when we start talking about chat rooms and or IM we are talking about applets or servlets as one responder wrote. These are actual computer programs that are pretty complicated and you would need to speak to a web developer or a programmer about this.





Its not a simpler matter, its not something you can just drag and drop and add, this is REAL PROGRAMMING NOW!!! lol I hate to stress it like that but people have gotten so used to using WYSIWYG editors and simple little tools that they think everything is easy until they try to do somethign dynamic like build a site that uses databases or use flash or build chat rooms, then they get stumped thinking that it was supposed to be easy but it never was easy, it only seemed easy.





And to add to that IT IS NOT SOMETHING YOU CAN DO FOR FREE!!! There are a lot of free little things out there but dynamic site building is not one of them. There is no one who will build you a chat room for free PERIOD!!! As far as sample codes there is no way a person can give you a sample code for a chat room. It will involve more than just lines of code, we're talking about having chat servers completely dedicated to chat, we're talking HARDWARE, we're talking complicated installations, the works, FIND A PROGRAMMER!!!! I BEG OF YOU OR ELSE YOU'RE GONNA GET STUMPED!!!
