I wanted to know if it had any viruses because i dont have protection. I know i should but i have not gotten around to buying it yet.
Is it ok to download the java program that runs runescape?
The version of Java that RuneScape uses is made by Sun Microsystems, the company that created and makes all the updates of Java. Sun Microsystems would not put viruses in their updates, since they'd lose way too much money.
Put it this way. Sun Microsystems has been churning out virus-free versions of Java for years. They'd lose a lot of money and trust if a virus showed up in an update.
