Which is the standard Java development Kit to download from Sun Micro systems?

In sun Micro Systems there are so many JDKs like Java SE, Java EE, Java SDK. I am confused with them.





Pls kinldy tell me which is best and correct JDK to learn Java programing?

Downloads | Java SE | select JDK 6 Update 4 [Download]





If you can, choose Save to disk and install once downloaded as this lead to less problems such as faulty installations. Just make sure you know where you downloaded it to, but if you forget location you saved it to the file name to search for once downloaded is:


  jdk-6u4-windows-i586-p.exe





Assuming you have enough space on your C drive then let it install to C:\Programme Files\Java\JDk1.6.0_04
